What’s On
All of our experiences and activities are hosted in our outdoor paddock which has electricity, hand washing facilities and a composting toilet.
Please bring appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for a windy outdoor environment.
Very occasionally experiences may have to be rescheduled due to high winds or torrential rain.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs.
Prior booking is essential. Please use our contact us page to plan your visit.
Al-pica-nics
£25 per family group (2 adults and up to 3 children. Additional adults and children can be booked separately)(~ 1 hour, April-October)
Join us for a gentle walk around the fields to give breakfast to the Stony Pasture alpacas, llamas, goats and sheep. We will hand feed and you can ask any questions you may have. If we have any baby animals needing bottles, you will give their morning feed.
Why not bring some snacks and enjoy a picnic in the paddock while soaking up the beautiful surroundings.
Young Alpaca Farmer
(April-October in school holidays)
£17.50 per child. For a morning or afternoon session. (Reducing to £15 if booking 2 or more sessions.)
Our morning sessions begin with the ‘feed round’. Everyone helps feed the animals. We check they have water, hay and are all happy and healthy.
We grab a quick snack in the paddock, then have a job list to attend to such as brushing the goats, halter training, milking, paddock cleaning, stick collecting etc.
Once our jobs are done, we have an activity either centred around the firepit or making something to take home.
Sessions will run in most weathers.
Activities are tailored to the age of the group
Party Paddock
Party Paddock hire is £60 for up to 10 children.
Plan a 90 minute outdoor party for your animal enthusiasts. You will have an additional 30 minutes before your party to set up and decorate. You will provide food, music and party games.
We will provide picnic tables, electric points for your music or any electrical appliances (chocolate fountains, bubble machines etc). There are hand washing facilities and a composting toilet on site.
As part of your party in the paddock we will meet and learn about some of the Stony Pasture animals.
Events will move to the barn in poor weather.

Full experiences launch in April 2025.
After a short briefing, we will set out on our gentle scenic walk of around a mile. At a little over halfway, we will stop for a cream tea (supplied by a local business) and relax in a former stone quarry. On finishing our walk, you are welcome to feed the llamas to thank them for your adventure.
