Moss

Moss was a thin and timid fawn coloured female when she joined us. But, she rapidly established herself as the herd boss and is now very confident. She does not like being asked to do anything she does not want to. She has had 5 babies, Orinoco, Chinook, WhyWhy, Stirling and Kalahari. Sadly she is no stranger to heartache losing Chinook as a stillborn and Stirling at only months old due to health complications. We thought she may have one more baby but she has decided she is retired having not held her pregnancy in 2023. She has been a wonderful, attentive mother and the bonds between her and her daughters is displayed when she lets them feed next to her at the trough.
