Kintra is the first offspring of my home bred Supreme Champion Orinoco. Her fleece is very dense. She has been robbed of a turn in the show ring by the global pandemic! She is a gentle giant, very calm and loving. Usually there isn't enough of a babies fleece to have it turned into yarn but Kintra had so much fleece that it was spun into yarn and it is slowly becoming knitwear for sale in our online shop and at craft fairs and events throughout the year. Her name is exceptionally special; she is named after the bay on which my 'aunties' ashes are scattered. Kintra loves being mother but sadly she isn’t very good at it. Her daughter Tayin never grew to full size, her son Berty is fully grown but thin and she recently lost her daughter Mallaig to a heart murmur. Her babies need topped up with milk as she doesn’t make much. Perhaps Mallaig will be her last baby.
