Holly is a beautiful soul. When she first arrived she seemed a worrier and she didn’t like finding herself part of a much smaller group of animals. However, she bonded to me very quickly and likes a cheeky snack from the hand. She is always alert on walks, watching everything in case she should need to sound the alarm. Her alarm call sounds like a donkey with a mega phone. It is so loud that it makes you jump out of your skin. We are hoping she may make baby trekkers for us although she is very unimpressed with our boy Phantom! Hopefully next year she will fall for his charms. If not, she has a life with us as part of the walking team and as a wonderful advocate for llamas in our education sessions.
